A professional-quality, handmade oboe reed, made to order, just for you. The details:
• Easy response.
• Pleasant tone – not dark, but not bright either, will blend well with an ensemble.
• Stable pitch.
• Tuned to A=440, crowing “C” octaves.
• Available in medium-soft, medium, or medium-hard strengths.
I use the following materials:
• Hand-gouged cane, on a Reeds 'n Stuff/ Hodge gouging machine.
• Shape is RDG -1.
• Stevens silver, thinwall, 47mm staples.
Each reed is sterilized in 70% isopropyl alcohol before mailing.
